can you send me your pricing information?

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?

We are based in Saint Louis, Missouri, but we love to travel for destination weddings! We've shot in Jamaica, Florida, Oregon, Tennessee, New York, Illinois, Washington, California, Nevada, and we cant wait to add more amazing places to our list!

WHAT IS YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY STYLE?

We are a boutique studio specializing in weddings and romantic portraits for the sophisticated and stylish couple. Our style is romantic, editorial, and timeless, with beautiful posing and gorgeous light. Since we place a high priority on lighting, we shoot a lot of dramatic photos, as well.

your images look so candid! do you pose at all?

Ashley's approach to posing is actually editorial, meaning that she looks for great light first to help sculpt bodies and draw the eye to parts of the images and then poses clients to look their absolute best before infusing the image with emotion. Most of the candid photos you see on our site that look beautiful are actually posed! Candid moments are the second photographer's priority, but they're often simply documentary images.

DO YOU CHARGE A TRAVEL FEE FOR WEDDINGS?

We do not charge a travel fee for wedding days if the wedding is within 60 miles of 63132. Travel fees are assessed for weddings that do not fall within 60 miles of our home. If a travel fee is assessed, clients are responsible for direct reimbursement for travel fees including but not limited to airfare, baggage fees, rental car fees, mileage, parking, tolls, and meals.

how many photographers will be shooting our wedding?

Your coverage includes photography by Ashley Fisher, unless you add a second shooter to your collection.

Can we meet prior to booking?

Sure thing! We offer phone calls or virtual consultations to potential clients to make sure that we're a good fit. Hiring your wedding photographer is a big decision, and we want to make sure that we're the right fit for you and you're the right fit for us.

How far in advance do you book?

On average, we book April/May/June and Sept/Oct/Nov about 12-18 months in advance and the remaining months between 6-12 months in advance.

What kind of retainer do you require and When is your final payment due?

Our non-refundable retainer is $1000. It is due simultaneously with your signed contract and can be paid either with an ACH transfer or a credit/debit card for no additional fee. We break the remaining balance into several $500 payments, with the final payment being due 30 days prior to your wedding.

can you hold our date?

Unfortunately, we are unable to hold dates without a signed contract and paid retainer.

Do you include an engagement session?

Our base price does not include an engagement session, but you may add one for $750. We highly recommend that you add one. Engagement sessions are scheduled for one hour within 10 miles of 63132 and includes your digital files in an online gallery.

Will you be our actual photographer on our wedding day?

Yes, unless I'm physically unable to (never has happened) or if you book an associate collection. If you book an associate collection, you will work directly with our associate photographer.

Should we provide you with a shot list?

We are totally comfortable with the ebb and flow of a wedding day, and we're constantly looking for moments that we may miss if we have to work off of a shot list. However, we do send an extensive questionnaire and have a final call to make sure that we're all on the same page. We ask for a list of details and a family formals list, and we will do our best to capture everything that is important to you, but we cannot guarantee specific images due to the nature of a wedding day.

Can we choose a certain editing style? Can you photoshop our images?

We retain completely control over our post-processing. Our editing style is timeless, as we want your grandchildren to love your images just as much as you and your grandparents love them. We correct color, exposure, cropping, and straighten all images. Images larger than an 8x12 or images in an album that are ordered through the studio will be retouched at our discretion. Retouching includes any mark that will not be present in two weeks (i.e., acne). All client requested edits including but not limited to removal of scars or birthmarks, removal of persons or things, body shaping, head swaps, removal of shadows, etc, will be outsourced to our retouchers and invoiced to the client.

Do you include digital files?

Absolutely. Your digitals are yours to share and print as you wish.

Do we receive all of the images from our wedding?

Part of our job is to put your images through a careful selection process so you get the best images possible. We do give a lot of images, but it's all about quality over quantity. We do not give additional images after we have completed that process, nor do we give raw files. On average, we deliver around 75 images per hour of shooting.

do we get the "rights" to our images?

You receive your wedding images with a personal print release, which allows you to print and share your images. We retain the copyright of the images, and we use the images on our website, on our social media accounts, and for advertising purposes.

How do we receive the images?

You'll receive an online viewing and ordering gallery to share with your friends and family.

Can my friends and family have and/or print our images?

Of course! We do not charge our clients' friends and families to be able to access digital files from your wedding. They have access to download images from your gallery (for free), or they may order prints and products from your gallery. Since your friends and family will be able to download and order images themselves, we're saving you the hassle of distributing images post-wedding.

Can we add on additional SERVICES or products after we book?

Absolutely! We truly believe that your wedding album is a multi-generational investment, and we don't want you to forego a wedding album due to budget at the time of booking, so we always offer the ability to add on to your collection at a later date.

What happens if we run late? can we add extra hours?

You'll be invoiced $625 per hour if you run late or want to add extra hours onto your collection.

What happens if it rains on my wedding day?

It would be in your best interest to secure an indoor location at least a few weeks prior to your wedding in case of rain. Indoor locations usually require permits, which are the client's responsibility. We can chat about suggested locations, but some of my favorites are old historic city buildings. Alternatively, we can go to one of the many open air pavilions in St. Louis or complete all of your photos in a covered area. In the event that we have to do all of your photos indoors, we will need to use artificial light, and our photos will look different than the natural light photos in our portfolio.

What equipment do you use?

We are Nikon shooters. We always bring backup equipment in case of a malfunction, so there's no need to worry on your wedding day!

Do you have liability insurance?

Of course!

Can we make changes to the contract?

Our contract is in place to protect you as much as it is there to protect us. We do not allow alterations to our contract, but we are more than happy to walk you through the contract if you have questions.

Do you have an assistant?

Usually no.

How long does it take to get our images back?

For weddings, our contracted delivery timeline is 8-12 weeks. We always try to get them back much, much quicker than that. For engagement sessions, our contracted delivery timeline is 6-8 weeks, but again we try to deliver in a much shorter time frame. It's usually dependent on the time of year, as April/May/June and Sept/Oct/Nov are much busier than the other months.

do we receive black and white images, too?

We deliver a black and white copy of every image we deliver. However, if an image is delivered only in black and white, it is not suitable for color, generally due to poor lighting conditions. We cannot convert a black and white standalone image back to color.

How many weddings do you shoot?

We started our business in 2012 and are now averaging 40 weddings a year. We only shoot one wedding per day, but we often have two or three weddings a weekend.

Do we need to feed you at the reception?

Yes please! We often shoot 10-12 hours straight, and we would love a hot meal and a small break to recharge so that we can get really amazing reception photos for you!

how do you work with a videographer?

We love working with videographers! It is super important, though, for us to be able to discuss our shooting plan prior to the wedding day in order to ensure that we're both able to get the images and clips we need to do the best job for you! If you hire a videographer, we really encourage you to look for a company who specializes in video and isn't a mill that sends out a contractor to complete the job. We have had experience with those videographers have walked down the aisle in front of the bride and prevented the groom from even seeing her.

have you ever shot at my venue?

If your venue is in St. Louis, there's a good chance that we've shot there before. But seriously, our favorite weddings tend to be the first time we shoot at a new venue, because we're constantly looking for the best light and creating the most innovative images rather than defaulting to the good spots we know from the previous wedding.

we're on a really tight budget. Is there any way you can discount your services?

I totally appreciate you asking! We definitely understand budgets and trying to figure out how to make all of the pieces fall into place without totally obliterating your bank account. We encourage you to think about the longevity of your wedding photos and think of your wedding photography budget as a multi-generational investment. While we'd love to provide all of our couples with a discount, we've carefully crafted our collection to fit the experience we provide to our clients, as well as cover our overhead costs. If we provided everyone who asked us for a discount with a discount, we'd probably be homeless, have to sell our cameras, and be unable to shoot your wedding. :)

What happens if you can't shoot my wedding?

We have an extensive network of amazing photographers both local and nationwide who we trust implicitly to take care of our clients if we are unable to shoot a wedding. We have only ever had to cancel one wedding that was within a few weeks of our son's due date, and that couple received a full refund and was hooked up with another amazing photographer! We've skipped family events, weddings & funerals, and even shot weddings when we were both under the weather, because your wedding day is just as important to us as it is to you.

CONTRACT + RETAINER
An executed contract and a $1000 non-refundable retainer are required to reserve our wedding photography services. Our services are booked on a first-come, first-served basis. We do not hold dates and we do not contact couples who have inquired but have not booked if we receive another inquiry for the date they were interested in. At the time your contract is signed by both parties and your retainer is received, we reserve the date agreed upon and decline all other inquiries for that date. Due to the nature of our business and the potential income lost from turning away potential clients who inquire for your date, your retainer is non-refundable, even if the date is changed, the wedding is canceled, or you cancel our contract.

PAYMENT TERMS
Your $1000 non-refundable retainer is applied towards your total collection price, provided that neither the wedding nor the contract is canceled. Your remaining balance is broken into several $500 payments between booking and your wedding date. The final payment is due 30 days prior to your wedding date.

MAKING PAYMENTS
We are a completely paperless company. Our contracts are signed online and our payments are accepted online. We have made this move to benefit you, so that you are able to use any form of payment you wish (credit, debit, or checking account). Payment processing fees are absorbed by AFP. Please do NOT send checks.

CANCELLATION BY CLIENT
We totally understand that situations come up and sometimes clients need to cancel their contract with us. If you need to cancel your contract, you will need to sign a cancellation agreement. We will keep your non-refundable retainer as liquidated damages. If the services provided up to the time of cancellation exceed $1000, you will also be responsible for the a la carte value of those services listed at the time of cancellation, not to exceed the grand total agreed upon (collection amount + travel fees + sales tax). At the time that the cancellation notice is received and any balance due to AFP is received, the contract shall be canceled.

WEDDING DATE/LOCATION CHANGE
We also understand that life happens, and sometimes it affects wedding dates/locations. If we are available on your new date or for your new location, we are absolutely going to apply your retainer to the new date. However, it is in our discretion to require additional funds to secure the second date (especially if you've changed your date more than once). If we are traveling to your wedding, you will also be responsible for all costs associated with the change of date (including but not limited to changes to airline reservations, hotel reservations, and local transportation reservations). If we are not available, we proceed just as if you had canceled the contract, and you will need to sign our cancellation agreement.

FAILURE TO MAKE FINAL PAYMENT
In the event that you don't make your final payment 30 days prior to your wedding date, it is considered a material breach of our contract. This means that we do not have to fulfill any other obligation under the contract, including shooting your wedding. We do NOT want that to happen! If we do not receive your final payment on the due date, we will send an email with a link to your invoice so that you can make your payment with just a few clicks. We have the discretion to assess a $5/day late fee on your balance until the final balance is paid. We appreciate you taking care of your final payment on time! In the event that we have worked out an alternative payment plan (which would require extreme circumstances), all images, prints and products will remain property of AFP and no editing will begin on the images until the full balance is remitted.

image editing and delivery POLICIES

ENGAGEMENT SESSION IMAGE DELIVERY
For engagement sessions, our contracted delivery timeline is 6-8 weeks, but again we try to deliver in a much shorter time frame. When your images are complete, we'll deliver your images in an online gallery with a zip file.

WEDDING IMAGE DELIVERY
We guarantee your entire wedding gallery within 8-12 weeks of your wedding, although we try to have your gallery completed as soon as we can. We ask that you be patient with us and not contact us regarding the status of your images. Once your images are complete, we'll deliver your images in an online gallery with a zip file.

CULLING
AFP retains complete control over the culling process. During this careful culling process, we select all images that meet our high standard of quality. Images with eyes closed, unflattering poses, test shots for lighting, images below our standard of quality, and duplicate images are permanently removed following this culling process. We fully believe that quality is more important than quantity, although we do not delete images just to "hit a quota." We do not guarantee a number of images, as every wedding is different. Generally, though, for a full wedding day, clients receive between 800-1200 images.

EDITING FOR THE GALLERY
AFP retains complete control over the editing process. The images that are delivered to you in your gallery are put through an extensive editing process in Adobe Lightroom where we color correct, make adjustments to exposure + contrast, sharpen, crop, and straighten the images. AFP also retains complete control over which images are delivered in color and which images are delivered in black and white. We deliver a full collection of B&W images, but if images are only delivered in B&W, the color version is not available. This is the only editing that is included in your collection, except for products ordered through the studio. Clients may not requests changes to our editing style. Client requested retouching will incur an additional per image fee.

EDITING FOR PRODUCTS ORDERED THROUGH THE STUDIO
AFP retains complete control over the editing process. Images that are ordered through the studio (in your album, canvases, prints larger than an 8x12, guestbook, etc.) will be retouched at the complete discretion of AFP. We normally take care of anything that will be gone within a two week period like acne or bruises. All client requested "unusual" edits, including but not limited to, removal of scars or birthmarks or freckles, removal or persons or things, lightening of shadows, changes to clothing, body shaping, skin tucking, head swaps, teeth whitening, removal of stray hairs, etc. will be outsourced to our editors and invoiced to the client.

ADDITIONAL IMAGES/RAW IMAGES
Under no circumstance will we release our RAW images. We select the best representation of the images taken during your engagement session and wedding. No additional images can or will be released following delivery of your gallery.

ONLINE STORAGE & ARCHIVAL OF IMAGES
Your images will be delivered to you via digital download in an online gallery. You will need a PIN code to download the entire zip file onto your computer. You are contractually responsible for your images once they are delivered. We suggest backing them up to at least three places: one external hard drive at your home, one external hard drive or flash drive off site (in your car, in a safe deposit box, or at a loved one's home), and on the cloud (e.g., Amazon Cloud Storage). Due to the size of our files, we delete all RAW files upon delivery of your gallery, and we do not permanently archive image files.

PRODUCT POLICIES

ORDERING GIFT PRINTS
Clients, friends, and family may order gift prints through the gallery. The balance for gift prints is due at the time the order is placed, and may be paid for online at the time the order is placed. The studio places gift print orders once a week on Thursdays (cutoff is 11:59pm CST on Wednesday), and delivery is dependent on manufacturer processing and delivery times. Gift prints (Images smaller than an 8x12) will receive NO ADDITIONAL RETOUCHING. All client "unusual" requested edits, including but not limited to, removal of scars or birthmarks or freckles, removal or persons or things, lightening of shadows, changes to clothing, body shaping, skin tucking, head swaps, teeth whitening, removal of stray hairs, etc. will be outsourced to our editors and invoiced to the client at $30 per image per round of revisions. Extensive Photoshop work will be invoiced to the client at $150 per hour.

ADD ONS/UPGRADES AFTER THE CONTRACT IS SIGNED
You may always add-on products or services or select upgrades. An addendum to the contract will need to be signed by both of you, and you will be responsible for the additional fees (including sales tax on all products). Products, including upgrades, must be paid in full before they will be ordered from the manufacturer. Additional services must be paid at the time the services are rendered. If there is an outstanding balance after the services have been rendered, no editing will be done on the images and nothing will be delivered until payment is remitted.

LOST ITEMS
We are not responsible for items lost by the USPS/FedEx/UPS due to invalid addresses. We prefer to deliver all of our products in person if you are local. We do purchase insurance on our albums + products that must be sent via mail. In the event that a product is lost by USPS/FedEx/UPS, we will file a claim and re-order the product with the insurance money, but we will not be responsible for delays associated with the items lost by USPS/FedEx/UPS.

PRODUCT DELIVERY TIMELINES
There is a minimum of a ten day lead time for orders to be placed with the manufacturer, depending on the product. All products will be delivered according to manufacturer timelines. Albums generally arrive within 12 weeks from the time the order is placed with the manufacturer. Canvases generally arrive within 4 weeks from the time the order is placed with the manufacturer. Gift prints and mounted prints generally arrive within 2 weeks from the time the order is placed with the manufacturer.

DISCOUNTS + PRODUCT CREDITS
Any discounts or product credits included in your collection expire one year after your wedding date.

image use policies

COPYRIGHT
All of our images are protected by Federal Copyright Law. We have found that clients often ask "will we receive the copyright to our photos?" There is a difference between copyright and a release for personal reproduction. We always retain our copyright, and we do not sell the copyright to our images under any circumstance. We do, however, always give our clients a release for personal reproduction. This release allows you and your friends and family to print your photos, share them on facebook, etc. It does not allow you to make money off of your images, edit your images., or submit your images to blogs/magazines for publication.

AFP IMAGE USE
We reserve the right to use our favorite photos from your wedding + engagement session on our Facebook page, our blog, our website, in online advertising campaigns, and in printed marketing materials. As all of our business is word of mouth, advertising with previous client images is critical to sustaining our business.

SUBMISSION OF WEDDING IMAGES
Occasionally, we submit weddings and engagement sessions to national wedding blogs for publication. We have found that it really excites our couples to see their story and all of their hard work on these nationally recognized wedding blogs.

ADDITIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER IMAGE USE
If there is another photographer at your wedding, that photographer is an independent contractor. As part of our agreement, that photographer has permission to use the images they have taken during your wedding in their portfolio (which may include their website, blog, Facebook page, etc.). You also need to remember that they may take images that do not meet the AFP high quality standards, and those images will not be delivered to you. You will not receive any additional images from that photographer that were not included in the images delivered, and you should not contact that photographer at any time to request any such images.

MODEL RELEASE
We require our clients to sign a model release. The model release is included in your contract. The model release simply gives us permission to use the images on our Facebook page, our blog, our website, in online advertising campaigns, and in printed marketing materials.

CLIENT USE OF IMAGES ONLINE
You are more than welcome to use your images online for personal use. On social media, we do ask our clients to give us image credit:
-Website: www.ashleyfisherphotography.com
-Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/ashleyfisherphoto or @Ashley Fisher Photography
-Instagram: @saintlouisweddingphotographer

ARTISTIC STYLE & RESCHEDULING POLICIES

LIMITATIONS ON LIGHT
We are primarily natural light photographers, although we are completely comfortable with off camera flash, too. However, we need you to acknowledge that if any part of your wedding day occurs at a time or in a location where there is an absence of natural light, we will have to use artificial light sources, and they will look different than the outdoor, natural light images you have seen in my portfolio. In the event that you have scheduled your wedding so that the only time we are able to do portraits is in the dark where we are required to use off camera flash, we will require you to sign an addendum to the contract stating that we have explained that the photos will look different than the images in our portfolio and you have still chosen to keep the timeline requiring us to complete those portraits after the sun has set. Accordingly, the images will not be subject to rejection based on taste, esthetic criteria, or personal appearance.

ARTISTIC STYLE
We require and retain discretion as to how our services shall be provided (e.g. choice of poses, lighting, lenses, etc.). You acknowledge that you are familiar with our portfolio, and you are requesting services with knowledge of our style. You also acknowledge that our work is constantly evolving, our services are of a unique and artistic nature, and that the images created at your engagement session and wedding may be different than our images taken in the past. You acknowledge that in creating your images, we shall use our personal artistic judgment to create images consistent with our personal vision of your wedding or engagement session, which vision may be different from your vision of your wedding or engagement session. Accordingly, images will not be subject to rejection on the basis of taste, esthetic criteria, or personal appearance.

RESCHEDULING ENGAGEMENT SESSIONS
We prefer to shoot in outdoor, natural light for our engagement sessions. Therefore, we reserve the right to reschedule engagement sessions due to weather conditions, including but not limited to rain, snow/ice, dust, extreme temperatures, etc. We aim to start this discussion around the time of the five day forecast if the forecast indicates a weather issue. We will notify you at least 24-48 hours in advance via email if there is an issue that threatens our scheduled engagement session. We will make the final call at least 24 hours in advance, unless the weather suddenly changes (i.e., the weather was fine but a storm appeared out of nowhere), or the weather might be okay during our scheduled time and we just have to wait to see if we can make it work (e.g., scattered showers/isolated storms). We do request cheerful cooperation in rescheduling, even if we have to reschedule several times. We promise that it'll be worth it!

CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

QUESTIONNAIRE + PLANNING MEETING
Weddings are a LOT of work, and we want to make sure we understand exactly how your wedding will run before we get there. We send out a questionnaire around a 8 weeks prior to your wedding, and we request that it be returned to us around four weeks prior to your wedding day. We will use that questionnaire during our final call to finalize your timeline, make your details list, learn your wedding party and family names, have contact info for the wedding day in case we need it, learn your photography priorities, and finalize your family formal list.

CLIENT REQUESTS
It is SUPER important that you collaborate with us when planning your timeline and helping us prepare for your wedding day, as every wedding is unique. We will always try to accommodate client requests, but we cannot guarantee specific images and/or poses. Circumstances, including but not limited to scheduling delays, can prevent certain images from being created. We respectfully request that you do not submit a shot list to us, except for those details that are so unique that I wouldn't otherwise know they existed and for those people who are super close to you that wouldn't otherwise be at the family formal session. Such shot lists actually prohibit us from covering the day as we normally do. We know that you love our work, so please trust us to do the amazing job that we know we can!

CLIENT COOPERATION
Weddings are also stressful, and we totally understand that. However, we ask our clients to be cheerful and stay in communication with us leading up to and on the wedding day. We also ask that your bridal party and family members be cheerful and cooperate with us, too, on the wedding day. We are not liable for images not taken due to individuals failing to appear or failing to cooperate during photography sessions. We want to do our job quickly and we just ask for cheerful cooperation so that we may do so. In the event that you ask us to stop photographing for reasons including but not limited to weather, dress malfunction, tardiness, not wanting to cooperate, or any other reason, we are not be liable for images not taken.

LOCATION ACCESS, FEES, AND PERMITS
If you want to shoot at a location that requires charges for access or requires permits, you are responsible for all fees associated with shooting there, including but not limited to entrance fees and parking. You are also responsible for organizing access to the location and for obtaining any permits required for shooting there. I suggest taking care of this well in advance as many locations require permits to be obtained at least one month in advance.

EXCLUSIVITY
We respectfully request that we are the only photographer hired for your wedding day, paid or unpaid, professional or amateur. If any other photography or guest videography becomes an obstacle to us fulfilling our agreement and professionally covering your wedding, we will verbally request that any such behavior stop. We cannot be held liable for failing to capture images that are disrupted by your guests or other vendors due to reasons including but not limited to obstruction, subjects looking at other cameras, other flashes going off, guests standing in aisles, guests with ipads and cameras in aisles, etc.. We do prohibit guests from photographing over our shoulder during posed sessions and detail sessions, and we do prohibit the use of wedding day images in a same-day slideshow that is put together by any person outside of our team or your professional videographer. We also respectfully request that your friends and family refrain from directing you, suggesting poses, or making inappropriate comments during our posed sessions. In the event that you hire another photographer, professional or amateur, without notifying us, our contract shall be treated as void.

HOUSE RULES
We are limited by the guidelines of the ceremony officials and reception site managers. You are responsible for negotiating deviations from the house rules. This is particularly important for church ceremonies, where we may be limited to locations where we may shoot from and limited to what kind of lighting we are permitted to use, if any. If the rules of the ceremony or reception venue prohibit us from professionally covering your event, we cannot be held liable for missed images.

MEAL POLICY
Wedding days are extremely long days for us, and we rarely have time to refuel, rehydrate or rest. We do require at least a 30 minute break during the time you and your bridal party are eating dinner. We request that you include us on your final count to your caterer (all photographers and assistants) for all weddings that last more than four hours. Please make sure that no events (including toasts and cake cutting) occur during this thirty minute period.

HARASSMENT
We expect to be treated with respect by our clients, their guests, and other vendors. In the event that we feel that we are being harassed (verbally or physically), the following procedure will take place. We will first notify the bride and groom of the harassment. If it happens a second time, we will request that the person be removed from the premises. In the event that the couple or the person harassing us refuses to leave, we reserve the right to leave the wedding and/or cease communication. If this occurs, we will not be liable for any images not taken. This policy includes behavior up to the wedding and after the wedding, as well.

EQUIPMENT DAMAGE AND THEFT
We take reasonable care to bring backup equipment. However, in the event that you or any of your guests damage or steal our equipment, it may result in our early departure. In such an event, you acknowledge that you will not receive a refund of any payments made, you will be responsible for any out of pocket costs of repair or replacement, and we will not be liable for failing to capture images due to the damage/theft.

STUDIO RESPONSIBILITIES

CANCELLATION BY AFP
Just like we understand things come up in your life which may cause you to cancel the contract with us, we have to be prepared for that to happen to us. Reasons that we might have to cancel the contract include, but are not limited to, finding out we're expecting a baby within a few weeks of your wedding or if we feel like we are not the best fit for you but do not discover that until after the contract has been signed. In the event that we have to cancel the contract, we will notify you via phone call and send you a cancellation agreement. We will refund your retainer minus the a la carte value of the services we have rendered at the time of cancellation. In the event that the a la carte value of the services we rendered at the time of cancellation is more than the $1000 non-refundable retainer, you will be responsible for those fees. It is extremely unlikely that we would need to cancel a contract. If we do decide that we need to cancel a contract, we will do our best to help you find a photographer who is of the same level of talent and skill and who will hopefully honor the same pricing we had originally agreed to. This is not a guarantee that it will be possible, but it is what we strive to do in this unfortunate circumstance.

SUBSTITUTION
In the unlikely event that we are unable to complete the responsibilities of our contract due to illness, death, fire, Act of God, or other event beyond our control, we do have policies in place to make sure that you are taken care of. We do not anticipate this ever having to happen, but we do recognize that there are emergencies that come up. Our couples are extremely important to us, and we will never miss a wedding if we can avoid it. In the event that we are unable to make it to your wedding, we will (1) arrange for a substitute photographer of the same level of talent and skill, and/or (2) an adjustment to the total collection amount or contents of your collection. In the event that you do not accept our substitution offer, you may elect to cancel the contract. As always, you will be responsible for the a la carte value of the services we have provided up to the moment of cancellation. If that amount is less than your non-refundable $1000 retainer, we will refund the difference. If it is more than your $1000 retainer, you will be responsible for the amount in excess of $1000. If we are unable to make the necessary arrangements in time due to death, serious illness, or insufficient time, our liability is limited to a refund of all payments made, including the retainer.

LIMIT OF LIABILITY
We represent that we take reasonable care with respect to capturing, developing, processing, storing, and delivering your images. However, in the event that we fail to comply with our contract for any reason, our liability will be limited to a refund of all payments made. The limit of liability for a partial loss of original images shall be a prorated amount of the exposures lost based on the percentage of total number of original images. If we fail to capture certain requested images, such omissions shall not be a breach of our contract and we will not be liable for any compensation to you, as we do not guarantee specific images.
